The North Face ‘Red Flag Movement’ gets into D&AD

I'm thrilled with the news that The North Face 'Red Flag Movement' campaign has got into the 2010 D&AD book under the Mobile Marketing category.

Not just because D&AD is one of the toughest shows on Earth but more for the fact that it embodies the kind of work we're capable of and aiming to keep doing at OgilvyAction. It's tightly integrated under one big insightful idea and it makes full creative use of an extensive range of channels and disciplines: mobile, website, road shows & events, field marketing, product demonstrations, on-ground activation, traditional ATL messages, e-coupons and store & POSM design; all working flawlessly.

In all due credit, the campaign from Ogilvy Shanghai was a joint effort of Ogilvy Advertising, OgilvyOne and OgilvyAction. Special thanks to Kevin Lee (ECD OMA) for the inspired idea, Natalie Lam (ECD OO) for the digital/online implementation and kudos to Sean Sim (ECD OA) and his team, for putting the whole activation strategy together and creative work.

I believe we've also got a very happy client, the business results were outstanding. It has picked up a Bronze in AME already, looking forward to see its performance in the upcoming shows.

(UPDATE: It‘s just also got a Bronze Pencil at One Show Interactive under the Environmental & Experiential category)
