What POSM can do nowadays

Last week at the Ogilvy Kyoto Conference we were discussing the possibilities of the retail space if one were to look at it with the eyes of an interactive artist instead of a merchandiser.

This complex station for Tropicana Twister does just that. A fresh approach to sampling and demo.

To elevate the credentials of Tropicana as a natural fruit juice, they created a machine that can ‘read’ the percentage of water in different fruits. And play it back in a couple of interesting and novel ways in the form of Rain 2.0 and Augmented Reality (fancy words for simple eye-candy, just watch the video).
