Skittles, famous for its quirky TV campaigns, needed to boost sales and turned to Facebook for help. True to their brand, they created a so called Super Mega Rainbow Updater that would help you super charge the otherwise by now boring and repetitive task of updating your status.

They built a hi-tech/low-tech warehouse part fully-staffed call center, part automated broadcast station, part Facebook invader.

Basically people could type their updates and minutes later get them read out loud on video by very funny characters. Too keep it even funnier, these characters could be rated by the users and win a prize so everyone tried its hardest.
