Pinterest has been getting a lot of traction in the last few months. And while its footprint is expanding rapidly, the early adopters have been primarily female.
That draw the attention from many brands but Kotex has just hit the sweet spot of a very relevant experience for the very right target audience.
The sanitary napkin brand has just launched probably the first ever experiential campaign on Pinterest. They’ve carefully chosen 50 influential Pinterest users, learned their tastes from their boards and created a special personalised gift using those inspirations. Then they’ve asked these women to repin the package to receive it, and each parcel also contained a free sample.
Upon delivery, the contents of the package got repinned, twitted and shared on Facebook delivering outstanding results.
