A few years back, someone came to the agency to introduce a digital interactive system that worked like the one that Tom Cruise manipulated in Minority Report. They wished. It was a poor adaptation of the idea, with some sort of hand gestures in the air but really clumsy representation on the screen.
Then, not long ago, I saw this video of a bright young engineer experimenting with real life applications of this concept. Very interesting but just a prototype then.
