After ‘The world’s largest signpost’ a few days ago, this could well be ‘The world’s tiniest banner’.
According to the English caption (the film is in German) this guerrilla action took place at the Frankfurt Book Fair. In an attempt to create some ‘buzz’, the publishing house —which happens to have a fly in their logo— let go 200 flies around the site carrying an ultra light banner. Apparently the banner was attached with natural wax and dropped off by itself after a short time, so the insects were not harmed. :)
What a way of capturing attention! I wonder if people found it amusing or a little disgusting or both. Watching it feels surreal though and it probably fits the brand.
How would we have charged for this? The cost of the ‘promoters’ or the media space in mm?
