As you can see, lately I’ve been revisiting the brand new Cannes Lions Mobile category in search for interesting shopper and promotional work.
This is a very successful campaign for Coke out of Hong Kong. With the help of a mobile app that captured the latest slang favorite of HK’s youth (chock!), they’ve turned a regular regional TV commercial into an interactive experience.
After downloading the app, the user must wait for the TVC to aired at 10 pm each night and shake the device in front of the ad very fast (Chock! Chock! Chock!) to win some small prizes.
Not only reached the highest participation levels for Coke and for a branded app. It also bagged a shiny Silver Lion among many others in different categories.
