Nike is the next brand to join ARG (alternative reality game) after MINI Getaway and New Balance Urban Dash.

To promote their running offer, the brand played the reality against the virtual aspect of these games, sending out hooded runners —hooked up with GPS and light refracting jackets— to wander around Vienna.

People had to track them, follow them and take pictures to reveal the number. The person who catches more runners win. Again, not totally original but a nice twist.
