Window (un)dressing

If you liked the ‘come naked’ promo from last week, you will feel this one is almost like an extension of that campaign. Also in NYC but for a different fashion label: Daffy’s.

In this case, they transformed their store window into an event.

Not only real models replaced the conventional mannequins, but each one carried a mobile device. People passing buy had no more to do than sending them a message and ask them to undress and try any other item of their new collection.

Each message was also projected onto the store window allowing more interaction among the crowd.
It’s got a bit of everything, some irreverence, fun, interaction, digital, social... Yet a very simple thought indeed.

Can you think of other ideas in which people are replacing inanimate objects or machines?
