There are things you just can’t send by email. That’s the premise of the Swedish Post, which has been using the Festive Season to in creative ways to encourage people using their service in our digital times.
In this case, they created a website called Living Christmas Cards in partnership with Funäsdalen, a small mountain village in northern Sweden.
On the website, you can take pictures of actual reindeers in real time, captured by four webcams set on the farm premises. After adding your personal touch, the Swedish post will deliver the real Christmas postcard to a real address and mailbox. Quaint in more than one sense.
